What happens after cancer treatment ends? For many adolescent & young adult (AYA) cancer survivors, the journey doesn’t stop there. Long-term physical, mental, and social challenges can have a lasting impact on their quality of life.
That’s where PanCare4AYA comes in. Together, 29 organisations across 14 countries are working together to improve Survivorship Care for AYA cancer survivors across Europe.
This EU-funded initiative is developing and testing a person-centred survivorship programme to improve long-term follow-up care, enable early detection of late effects, and better support the unique needs of adolescents and young adults.
A replication toolkit for scaling up in new countries and clinics will also be made available via hashtag for every European AYA Cancer Survivor. Because every survivor deserves the right care – for life.
