Desmond Boateng used to think so, but in today’s throwback, he dives into why diversity should go beyond gender, age, and ethnicity. The fact that we don’t look alike, he argues, doesn’t mean diversity is guaranteed. 👀

Think smell isn't that important? Think again.

Tag someone who loves food and might underestimate their nose 👃

in our previous edition Rachelle de Vries told us that half of people would prefer losing our sense of smell over giving up a pet (not fair "this or that", I need to say 🥲).

But anyway, did you already thinked about the importance of our sense of smell?

From choosing what to eat to how we experience flavors, smell influences our decisions more than we think. Yet, many undervalue it because it feels 'less important' than vision or hearing.

Next time you savor a meal, remember: your nose is guiding your choices in ways you don’t even see.

Now, imagine this:
you arrived home from a long day working and/or studying, open the fridge see some container there with a food you made someday last week and you sniff the food to make sure is safe to eat.

As AI's presence in daily life becomes more pressing, we believe it's worth diving into this TED Talk to start a conversation about how ethics can help create an AI that truly serves everyone, not just the algorithms.
