PGH is internationale non-profit organisatie gewijd aan het parachutespringen met (militaire) ronde koepel parachutes, met het doel om allen die boven bezet of vijandig gebied gedropt zijn per parachute, te herdenken.

25 April the weatherconditions were perfect for jumping. We made a total of 24 jumps, that's 2 full loads, onto our dropzone at Standdaarbuiten.

Today the Dutch flag is half raised because of National Remembrance Day. We commemorate all Dutch civilians and military personnel who have been killed or murdered in the Kingdom of the Netherlands or anywhere in the world since the outbreak of World War II, in war situations and in peace operations.

At 20.00 hrs, after the Last Post is played, everbody in The Netherlands will keep 2 minutes of silence.
We will remember them.

Every year a select group of our members follow the DZ-(refresher)course. A very important link in the chain before and during the jump.
Last month they had lessons about dropzones, weather and first aid. So all our dropzonecontrollers are up to date and the DZC's-to-be are ready to get their time on the dropzones this season!

Last month we opened our jumpseason with a team meeting. Since then individual jumpers gathered in their own time and represented PGH at events all over the world!

Last weekend we had our first day at our homebase Skydive ENPC. All present did their harnesstests, practices their exits in the mockup and their PLF's. Many thanks to the instructors fot this day. Unfortunately we didn't get to jump due to high winds, but our next jumpday is planned: 11 April.

Before the second wave of military aircraft at the heath, we lead the way again! The second load opened the afternoon part of the event. After all jumpers landed it started to rain. The day ended earlier, but it was a great day!

The first pictures of the last day of our Market Garden Commemoration jumps. On this day the Falcon Leap jumps are combined with our Market Garden commemoration jumps and the commemoration events by the municipality of Ede. It's one of the biggest dropzones we have: the Ginkelse Heide (Ginkel Heath)
We always open the events by jumping from a C-47 in authentic clothing. This year followed by 4 C-130's, 2 C-295's and 2 A400M's.

The second day of our Market Garden Commemoration jumps was 19 September at Wolfheze. Weather looked good, so C-47, Pegasus - The Ghost of Arnhem, came right on time at the DZ. The DZ-controllers gave the last weatherconditions and all jumpers were set spot on by the jumpmasters! After the last jumper exited the aircraft, it lowered for the memorial flight for David Lord on the other side of the village.

When the plane went back to get the second load jumpers, the military Falcon Leap jumpers came into the Ginkelse Heide. Their aircraft made their jumpruns straight over our dropzone! With the last A400 still at the horizon, the C-47 came in again for load 2. Everybody landed at the DZ, with lots of people watching. We then walked to the Glider monument for a remembrance ceremony with wreath laying. Then back to the campsite, to pack all parachutes!
