We evacuated two people from a dangerous area near the frontline and brought them to a temporary shelter in Kramatorsk.

We are working alongside our local hero, , who evacuates an average of four people every day from some of the most dangerous areas in the Donbas region.

At the shelter in Kramatorsk, evacuees can take a moment to rest, have something to eat, and recover from the journey. From here, many continue to stay with family, friends, or acquaintances in safer parts of the country.

The place where brings people after evacuating them has been hit. 💔

Our evacuation teams drive into some of the most dangerous areas to help communities living under constant threat from drones and evacuate civilians.

After an evacuation, the first stop is often a temporary shelter. A place where people can wash, receive basic medical and psychological care, and call relatives who sometimes haven’t heard from them for months.

Yesterday, a russian air strike hit one of these shelters in Kramatorsk, northern Donetsk region.

We know this place well. We have slept there, listened to people’s stories and helped them figure out where to go next.

This woman just said goodbye to her son. Now she’s sitting next to me, praying that she will make it safely to Kramatorsk. 💔

This is the reality people in Ukraine are facing every single day.

Our local hero receives calls every day from people just like her, people asking to be evacuated before it’s too late.

Driving away from Kramatorsk, we pass gas station after gas station that has been targeted. Civilian infrastructure is being hit, and civilians in this area remain at risk.

That’s why it’s important for us to be here, to stand beside the people who are helping others. 🇺🇦
