- Benefit concerts for Ukraine

We proudly announce our upcoming series of concerts with the outstanding musicians Mykhailo Bilych (violin) and Andriy Vasin (piano)—two members of the renowned Chamber Ensemble Kyiv piano quintet. They join forces with their esteemed guest musician Galyna Bilych / Білич Галина(violin).

This time they will take you on a musical journey through Podil, the Montmartre of Kyiv, with its vibrant cultural history—the beating heart of this beautiful city! Join us on this exploration with works by Debussy and Brahms to Silvestrov and Stankovych.

Free entry—donations will support Netherlands for Ukraine and help make these unique concerts possible.

Tonight at the National Philharmony of Ukraine Національна філармонія України in Kyiv:

Andriy Vasin will perform at the Memorial Concert among laureates of the International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz. The 2005 prize winner will perform Debussy’s *Two Preludes for Piano Solo*—the same piece he played in the 2005 semi-finale.

Among the performing laureates is his student, Tetiana Shafran, a rising star and prizewinner of numerous international competitions, now building a global career.

We wish Andriy, Tetiana and all the laureates a wonderfull performance!

Today we congratulate Mykola Liubenko with his birthday!

The principal of the cello group at the National Symphonic Orchestra of Ukraine and exceptional cellist of Chamber Ensemble Kyiv also works tirelessly on the support of young talent at the Vere Music Fund. As a soloist and chamber musician every performance is carried by his lyrical sound and endless phrases that elevates the listeners.

We kijken met warme gevoelens terug op het laatste concert van de tournee 'Echos of Hope and Silence'. De fantastische musici Mykhailo Bilych, Andriy Vasin en Galyna Bilych hebben het publiek betoverd met een werkelijk inspirerende uitvoering van werken van Veracini, Respighi, Glière, Silvestrov en Stankovych. Alsof er iets bijzonders in de lucht van deze kerk hangt, bekend voor ons trouwe publiek…

While the musicians prepare for the final concert tonight, we look back to the wonderful concerts last weekend in the charming Petruskerk in Spankeren and the beautiful Koepelkerk Arnhem. The performances were received with open hearts and minds, the listener’s reminisced full of emotions in our dialogues after concert.

Tonight the final concert concludes in the idyllic De Oude Jan in Velp, where the musicians return with warm memories of past concerts. We hope to see a lot of familiar faces again 🤗
