The National Students Esports League is a platform that organizes gametournaments for people studying at a hogeschool or university in the Netherlands. These tournaments will typically consist of several matches played during a six to eight week period in either a swiss or round robin format. Each team gets to play multiple matches and ends up earning a spot in the ranking. By the end of the tournament the top teams will advance to the knockout stage.
