What a lovely Saturday at the IamExpat Brabant & Eindhoven Fair! 💙

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Cancer Support Netherlands stand, said hello, asked questions and took the time to learn more about what we do. We were especially excited to meet so many people interested in volunteering with CSN. We’re so grateful to everyone who signed up and offered to get involved in our community.

We’ll be reaching out to everyone who registered very soon with more information about the next steps. Thank you for your interest, your time and your enthusiasm. We’re looking forward to getting to know our new volunteers and building our community together. 💙

💃 Throwback to our Dance for Stress Reduction Workshop!

On 24 July, we came together to move, breathe and let go of some of the tension that can build up when life feels overwhelming.

No dance experience needed. No pressure to perform. Just a space to move, connect and take a moment for ourselves. 💛

We loved seeing our community come together and create a little room to breathe.

Because support doesn’t always have to mean talking. Sometimes, you just need to move.

Quarterly Update July-September 2026

Nobody Understands Me: 10-Part Series
This quarter, we launched our "Nobody Understands Me" 10-part series, and the response has been beyond anything we expected. Engagement is up 375,7% and views have grown by 367%. It's a powerful reminder of how much this story, and this community, resonates. Thank you to everyone who has watched, shared, and supported the series so far.
💬 Why this series matters
"Nobody Understands Me" gives voice to something so many families live through but rarely say out loud: what it's really like to face cancer, from both the parent's side and the child's. Each episode is honest, moving, and quietly powerful, the kind of storytelling that helps people feel less alone. If you haven't watched yet, we'd truly encourage you to. And if you have, share it with someone who might need to see it too.

🩰 Dance for Stress Reduction Workshop
On July 24th We hosted a Dance for Stress Reduction Workshop, giving our community a space to move, breathe, and release tension together. No experience needed, just a willingness to show up and let go.

🎨 Watercolour Painting Workshop
We also ran a Watercolour Painting Workshop on August 7th, offering a quiet, reflective space to explore creativity as a tool for processing emotion. As always, these moments remind us how art and expression can hold what words sometimes can't.

Looking ahead, we're excited for two upcoming events: a Smash Therapy session and our participation in Pink Ribbon Dam tot Dam. Please message us if you are interested in joining!

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for the Dam tot Dam Pink Ribbon Walk on Saturday 19th. From Dam Square in Amsterdam to Dam tot Dam Park in Zaandam, you walked alongside us in support of everyone affected by breast cancer.
Every step, conversation and shared moment helped make the day special. We’re so grateful to have had our community walking with us. 💛
The walk may be over, but the conversation continues. With Breast Cancer Awareness Month coming up in October, we’ll be sharing more about breast cancer.
