As part of the team at Green Horizon, Diego is right at the heart of our reforestation work helping design, assess, and bring our projects to life.

From regulatory insights to field and technical experience, he brings a unique mix of skills that makes him a key part of the team.

With roots in the forests and scrublands of South America, Diego is now focused on the mission of conserving, and restoring forests in Tanzania 🌍🌱

Native to Tanzania, this resilient evergreen tree plays a vital role in supporting healthy ecosystems; especially in water-rich environments like riverbanks and wetlands. It provides shade, stabilizes soils, and creates habitat for a wide range of species.
