Movement On The Ground We believe everyone, no matter who you are or where you're from, should live in a healing and self-sustaining environment. We are Movement On The Ground.

On a mission to transform refugee camps into safe and healing environments 🧡
Help us support displaced communities this Ramadan and share the warmth of Iftar to Lesvos by donating using the link below ⬇️ We dream of a world where people forced from their homes have the freedom to choose another place to call home. We stand with and for people on the move. We build bridges with the local communities where we work. We want to transform refugee camps into safe, healing and enabling environments with our Camp to campUS philosophy. We want to change the public perception of what it means to be a 'refugee'. We want to drive sustainable change for people on the move. Ultimately, we want to help pave the way for people on the move to integrate into their future society. We are still small and we don't have all the answers, but we do fill in the humanitarian gaps whenever and wherever is most needed. We are determined to empower communities to thrive.

The children of Syria have no schools to go back to…

All over the world children are going back to school after summer break. But for some, this is only a dream.

The liberation of Syria came with many opportunities, but also challenges. Infrastructure and housing has been destroyed, leaving families without homes and kids without schools to go to.

Movement on the Ground is exploring education projects in Syria. Would you like to be a part of this initiative? Reach out to [email protected] to see what you can do!

For the 40th Dam tot Damloop the lovely people at Cisco ran for Movement On The Ground!

Thank you to the runners for not just dedicating their athletic accomplishment to us, but also for raising donations. And thank you to Cisco for matching the donations made by its runners.

It is partnerships like this that allow us to continue the important work that we do. Supporting people who have to flee for their safety, creating a context where they can grow, and fighting for a dignified and meaningful life for all!

Do you or your business want to help to? Reach out to [email protected] today!

Movement on the Ground geeft gratis digital literacy glasses in Gaza. Om ook tijdens de oorlog kinderen de kans te geven om door te groeien.

Wil jij een kind in Gaza de mogelijkheid geven om te blijven leren en ontwikkelen? Neem dan vandaag contact met ons op via [email protected].

Our management team joined the Dutch delegation 🇳🇱 on a trip to Damascus, Syria 🇸🇾. On this trip we exchanged ideas with Syrian stakeholders and the local community.

In our conversations with Dutch officials, the Damascus municipality and the Syrian ministry for labour, we were reminded of the importance of this moment in time.

Now is the time to rebuild Syria! Sanctions are being lifted, diplomatic relations are growing, and Syria is opening up to the world of international banking. Movement on the Ground has been here for a while already.

Join us in our efforts to support the reconstruction of Syria. Send us a direct message to see how you can help 📩

What does back to school mean for the students of Gaza?

Even during war, children and students continue on learning. But power outages and destroyed buildings make education inaccessible.

Support the student of Gaza, young and old. By donating to our digital learning lab and digital literacy centre.

Schools have started again. For most that means chaotic school runs, trying to balance making your kids breakfast, preparing their lunch, and getting them ready for school.

But mothers and children in Sudan experience a completely different reality. One where children go to school on empty stomachs, no lunch during recess, and often no dinner at home. How can we expect children to learn and grow without sufficient nutrition?

You can make a difference! Donate today and give a child in Sudan a full belly to learn on 🧡 LINK IN BIO 🔗
