[NL] In HORIZON zien we een vrouw in een stadslandschap. Het woord horizon is de trigger die haar in actie brengt. Door dit teken aangestuurd, probeert zij de horizon te zien, maar telkens wordt haar blikveld beperkt of onderbroken. Bestaat de horizon eigenlijk nog wel of hoort hij niet meer bij het stadsleven? We volgen haar in haar zoektocht naar de horizonlijn, die ze niet kan vinden in de stad
. De tijdsbeperking van het daglicht is een onuitgesproken limiet voor haar tocht. HORIZON is een spannend cross-over project waar filmische en danselementen met elkaar worden gecombineerd, waar een serieus onderwerp met humor gebracht wordt en waar een confrontatie plaatsvindt tussen een dynamisch lichaam en de statische stadsomgeving.
[ENG] In HORIZON we see a woman in an urban setting. She is triggered by the word ‘horizon’, and goes off to try and discover it, but her field of vision is constantly limited or broken. Does the horizon actually exist, or does it no longer belong to city life? We follow the woman in her search for the horizon, which she no longer can find in the city. The limited amount of daylight implicitly restricts her search. HORIZON is an exciting crossover project that combines both film and dance elements and approaches a serious subject with humor, in which a confrontation takes place between a dynamic body and the static urban environment.
