TETI Foundation believes that young people motivated to contribute in the sector of development aid represent a huge resource and aims to channel this effectively by asking two important questions:

What are the true skills and competences of those wishing to do volunteer-work, and, what are the true needs of those living in the communities where this takes place? TETI responds by offering a plat

form which allows students and young entrepreneurs to establish their own effective and targeted development projects. The projects are developed in cooperation with local organisations who, with their specific knowledge of the targeted communities, will be able to identify what is necessary and possible. By combining the motivation, ideas and specific skills of volunteers with the regional knowledge and expertise of organisations in developing countries themselves, TETI wishes to bridge the gap between supply and demand in development aid, and offers a platform where informed, targeted and effective projects can thrive.
