Collecting Voices installation!

Was bedeutet Freiheit für euch?

What a night. ✨
On 5 May we gathered at , more than fifty people, 5 artists, one question: what is freedom?
The evening was full of collective effort, deep connection, honest dialogue and healing through art. Every voice in that room became part of something larger than itself.
Together we wrote a manifesto. It belongs to all of us.
You can find it via the link in our bio. 🕊
Thank you to everyone who came, who spoke, who listened, who stayed. And to our artists .layic .berika thank you for bringing your whole selves.
This is what Living Archive is. And it is just beginning. Stay Connected!

Komşu Zuid happening reminded us why Living Archives is created and matter: not as static containers of memory, but as breathing spaces where stories, bodies, sound, and community intertwine.

Thank you to everyone who stepped into the room, listened, contributed, and allowed the past to unfold in the present. Through conversations, recordings, gestures, and spontaneous encounters, we witnessed how archives can transform when held collectively — shifting from documents to experiences, from evidence to emotion, from silence to dialogue.

Our gratitude to the artists, researchers, and participants who shaped the day with such generosity. Your voices and perspectives have expanded the constellation of this project and will continue to inform the next phases. Living Archive is built through you through shared presence, curiosity, and the courage to hold memory with care.

We will be processing the materials gathered and weaving them into the ongoing research. In the coming months, more sessions, open studios, and public moments will follow as we continue exploring how archives can heal, connect, and imagine futures.

Thank you for being part of this evolving practice.
The archive lives because you do. .layic

We are happy to announce our new project: Living Archive #1: Komşu Zuid ✨

This marks the beginning of a long-term journey of archiving oral histories — stories of resilience, love, and longing within Dutch society.

From shared stories to newly created ones, we will embark on an artistic process that opens dialogue, nurtures empathy, and connects communities across generations and backgrounds.

Stay tuned as we begin this living, breathing archive together.

Living Archive #1: Komşu Zuid

Programme highlights include new performances by and .layic, concerts by & .doyle.music and , a pop-up exhibition, and The BuurTour by , which explores the social and architectural stories of the Diamantbuurt and many more artists who bring their own voices, disciplines, and perspectives to this living mosaic of memory and creativity.

Spoken in Dutch, Turkish, and English, the programme moves fluidly across languages mirroring the multilingual rhythm of the neighbourhood itself.
