[Information on the 2026 Korean Festival]
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Netherlands is pleased to present the 2026 Korean Festival, an event designed to introduce Korea’s traditional and contemporary culture to audiences in the Netherlands and to promote cultural exchange and mutual understanding between Korea and the Netherlands.
Building on the Korean cultural events that have been held annually in Amsterdam, this year marks the first large-scale Korean Festival in The Hague. The festival will provide visitors with an opportunity to experience various aspects of Korean culture, including traditional culture, music, food, performances, arts, lifestyle, and contemporary culture through a diverse range of programs.

Venue
The Grote of Sint-Jacobskerk (Grote Kerk) is a historic church located in the center of The Hague and is currently used as a venue for various cultural events, performances, and exhibitions. Further information about the venue is available on the official website of the Grote of Sint-Jacobskerk.
Main Program
A variety of performances and programs introducing both traditional and contemporary Korean culture will take place throughout the day.

Korean food, snacks, desserts, beverages, Korean-related products, workshops, and other activities will be available throughout the festival.

▪︎13:00–14:00 | Kukkiwon Taekwondo Demonstration and Fan Meeting
▪︎14:30–14:50 | Lucky Draw – Round 2
▪︎15:00–16:30 | Korean Cooking Competition Finals
▪︎17:00–17:30 | K-Jazz Performance by the group “Heung”
▪︎18:00–18:30 | Korean Cooking Demonstration by Kim Tae-yeon, Director of the Kimchi Institute
▪︎18:30–18:50 | Lucky Draw – Round 3
▪︎19:00–19:30 | K-Classical Vocal Performance by “Per4men's”
▪︎20:00–20:30 | K-Pop Dance Performances by “X-dreamin” and “Miso Zone”

Korean Cultural Experiences
In addition to performances, visitors will have opportunities to experience Korean culture through a variety of hands-on activities and programs, including:

A Korean food and beverage market will also be available at the festival. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover a variety of Korean foods, while selected food, beverages, and products will be available for purchase.
Korean Companies and Products
A number of Korean companies, including Kia, Sempio, Samyang, and Foodberry, will participate in the festival to introduce their products and services. Participating companies will present their products and examples of innovation, providing visitors with an opportunity to learn more about Korea’s industries, technology, products, and lifestyle.
Lucky Draws and Participation Events
Three Lucky Draw sessions will be held during the festival. Prizes will include Korean food gift sets, traditional Korean souvenirs, and other items. Various quizzes and participation events will also be held as part of the festival. Further information on how to participate and details of the events will be provided at the venue.
Visitor Information
For the smooth and safe operation of the event, the following restrictions apply to items brought into the venue.

Admission to the festival is free of charge. However, food, beverages, and selected products available at the festival will be offered for purchase separately.
