Hope Village is an orphanage in Windhoek (Namibia), which is taking care of victims of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. More than 90 children are currently living there. Foundation Hope Village Europe is incorporated by volunteers who have worked in Hope Village. Together with their family and friends they are supporting Hope Village financially with the monthly operational costs. Go to www.hopevillageeurope.com

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother of Hope Village, Marietjie de Klerk. She had a mission, caring for as much as possible vulnerable children in need, and she managed to set up a warm and loving Hope Village. Many many children found here a warm and loving home.
Marietjie was a very brave and strong woman, and she was stronger than her cancer for many years.

Marietjie no words, we will miss you so much. We send our condolences to the Hope Village family.

The memorial service will be on the 24th of March in Windhoek
