YOUth ACT is looking for a Treasurer / Head Fundraiser to join our board and help power youth-led activism into real, lasting impact.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our sustainability and growth. You’ll oversee budgeting and financial planning, while leading fundraising strategies that support our events, campaigns, and community work. From grant research and applications to partnerships, donations, and creative low-cost fundraising ideas, you’ll help ensure YOUth ACT can keep showing up where it matters most.
What you’ll do :
- Manage and oversee the organisation’s finances and budget
- Develop and coordinate fundraising strategies (grants, partnerships, events, donations)
- Work closely with the board to align funding with YOUth ACT’s mission and priorities
- Keep finances transparent, organised, and accountable
Who we’re looking for:
- Someone organised, reliable, and motivated by social justice
- Comfortable with budgeting, spreadsheets, or willing to learn
- Interested in fundraising, grants, and resource mobilisation
- A collaborative team player who believes in youth-led change
This is a voluntary board position, ideal if you want hands-on experience in NGO finance and fundraising while contributing to a cause you care about.
