Rakkaat eläinystävät,
tässä kuussa juhlimme 3-vuotisjuhlaamme.
Kolme vuotta, joiden aikana on tapahtunut niin paljon…
Yli 40 hätäapuprojektia yli kymmenessä maassa.
On yksi kokemus, joka muutti sydämeni ikuisesti: aivan ensimmäinen hätäaputehtävämme Hatayssa.
Siellä koin turkkilaisten ihmisten – ja eläinten – lämmön, voiman ja rakkauden tavalla, jota en koskaan unohda. Siitä hetkestä lähtien Turkki on ollut sydämessäni.
Tämän viikon alussa kuulin tarinan, joka kosketti minua syvästi.
Tarinan turkkilaisesta naisesta, joka antaa kaiken eläinten hyväksi Samsunissa, Pohjois-Turkissa: Şeyma Özberk.
Şeyma huolehtii yli 150 koirasta ja 100 kissasta, joista monet ovat sairaita tai vammaisia. Se, mistä hän on luopunut, jättää minut sanattomaksi.
Hän luopui työstään opettajana ja kodistaan ja asuu nyt kontissa ilman kylpyhuonetta tai WC:tä – jotta kaikki mahdolliset resurssit voidaan käyttää eläinten auttamiseen.
Tämä nainen on rakkautta teoissa.
Hän edustaa kaikkea sitä, mikä tässä maailmassa on yhä hyvää ❤️
M***a talvi on saapunut… ja Samsunissa on purevan kylmä.
Koirat nukkuvat ulkona pakkasessa. Ne tarvitsevat lämpöä, suojaa ja turvallisen paikan levätä.
Yksi koirankoppi maksaa vain 90 €, ja jokainen euro menee suoraan eläimille. Ei mihinkään muuhun. Olemme sijoittaneet jo yli 100 koirankoppia aiempina vuosina, m***a tavoitteemme on saavuttaa 1000!

This month we celebrate our 3rd anniversary.
Three years in which so much has happened…
Over 40 emergency aid projects in more than 10 countries.
There is one experience that changed my heart forever: our very first emergency mission in Hatay.
There, I felt the warmth, strength, and love of Turkish people — and of the animals — in a way I will never forget. Since that moment, I carry Turkey in my heart.
Earlier this week, I heard a story that deeply moved me.
A story about a Turkish woman who gives everything for animals in Samsun, in the north of Turkey: Şeyma Özberk.
Şeyma cares for more than 150 dogs and 100 cats, many of them sick or disabled. What she has sacrificed leaves me speechless.
She gave up her job as a teacher and her home, and now lives in a container without a bathroom or toilet — so every possible resource can go to the animals.
This woman is love in action.
She is everything that is still good in this world ❤️
But winter has arrived… and it is bitterly cold in Samsun.
The dogs are sleeping outside in freezing temperatures. They need warmth, protection, a safe place to rest.
One doghouse costs just €90, and every single euro goes directly to the animals. Nothing else. We have placed over 100 doghouses already in the past years, but we want to reach a 1000!
If you choose to help, you are not doing it for me or for Şeyma —
you are doing it for the eyes that beg for a warm place…
for the small bodies shivering through the night…
for animals who have never known real love 🐶💕
Together, we can tell them:
“You are not forgotten. You are safe. You belong.”
