Specially Unknown is about collecting and sharing stories of refugees and exploring what they add to culture, heritage and society in the European cities.

The European oral history project Specially Unknown collects, saves and presents the untold stories of refugees in the European cities of Antwerp, Bochum, Paris and Turin. The 160 collected stories are made accessible to a wide audience through municipal archives, city museums, public libraries and through artistic productions.
