Art meets foiling. A portrait with a purpose. 🎨

Scottish artist Mark Sib’s portrait of Giulia Conti is coming to the Genoa International Boat Show, ahead of a charity auction supporting the next generation of foilers.

Commissioned through GRM Marketing and painted during Foiling Week on Lake Garda, the artwork will help turn talent into opportunity: all auction proceeds will fund coaching and development for young foilers.

World and European champion, four-time Olympian and winning helm of the inaugural Women’s America’s Cup, Giulia is We Are Foiling’s Head of Performance and has now joined the Ferrari Hypersail Sailing Team.

Who made an outstanding contribution to the world of foiling in 2026?

The international foiling community is invited to propose the athletes, projects, products and events that deserve to be considered for the Foiling Awards X shortlist.

Submit your suggestions by 25 November 2026 through the dedicated online form:

Public voting will take place from 15 December 2026 to 15 January 2027.

Introducing GEN F by We Are Foiling. The Next Generation.

The future of foiling is not only about results, speed and new manoeuvres. It belongs to young athletes who live the sport, keep pushing their own progression and share the journey with a growing community.

This is the idea behind GEN F, where the F stands for Foiling of course: the new We Are Foiling programme supporting the next generation of sailors and riders. Emerging talents who stand out not only for what they can do on the water, but for how they tell the story of their sport and bring others into it.

GEN F will help them travel, compete and create, and will support them in finding partners and new opportunities.

The first athletes to join are Daniel and Dylan Cullen, better known as The Cullen Bros. We met them at Foiling Week and were struck straight away by their talent, their energy and the natural way they tell foiling from the inside.

They are exactly what GEN F is about: progression, creativity, personality and a real passion for sharing the ride.

This is only the beginning.
