Yesterday, Saturday October 11th, all candidates had their judge interviews.
This year, we had to do it through Zoom — but our tallymasters, John and Arthur, took excellent care of everything and made sure the process was fair and according to the regulations.

From what we’ve heard, all candidates did very well!

Now they’re getting ready to shine on stage during the Mr Leather Europe election in Amsterdam next weekend, where the judges will continue their work to decide who will become the next Mr Leather Europe.

And don’t forget... you, the audience, will also have a voice in this!

We are thrilled to share a milestone of great importance to our community. For the first time, an African-American affiliate member of the ECMC will serve as a judge for the Mr. Leather Europe 2026 contest taking place on October 18, 2025 in Amsterdam.

We are proud of this moment, as visibility matters and representation strengthens our community. We honor Master J. Tebias' work as a judge this year, and acknowledge what his presence means to younger members and to those finding their place within the community.

We also want to recognize Sir Gerald Hill (a/k/a Gerald H. Leatherman) who, though not affiliated with the ECMC, was the first African-American to judge Mr. Leather Europe (at Manchester Leather Weekend in 2022). Both Gerald and Tebias have brought special things to many Leather spaces.

Our future is brighter and our community stronger when everyone can see themselves in it.

The last but not least Contestant of the Mr Leather Europe election 2026 is Kai, italien Fe**shman of the year 2025

Kai, 33, was born in Alto Adige/Südtirol, Italy, and has lived in Vienna for the past 14 years. Through friends he discovered leather and rubber, sparking a journey of self-exploration that connected him deeply with the fe**sh community in both Austria and Italy. In March 2025, this path led to his election as Italian Fe**shman of the Year.

Since then, Kai has been traveling across Europe, strengthening bonds between Leather & Fe**sh Milano and clubs in Austria, Spain, and the Netherlands. Along the way, he reaches out to Italian ki****ers abroad, reminding them that—even if life back home can be challenging—there is a strong community to rely on. Tall, blonde, and always on the move, Kai embraces his role as a bridge-builder, a listener, and a proud representative of Italian fe**sh culture.

Two Contestants left to introduce to you of the Mr Leather Europe election 2026 , the ninth is Fred, Mr Leather Belgium 2025

As Mister Leather Belgium 2025, he dedicated his year to visibility, community, and celebration. He proudly represented Belgium at Prides across Europe, showing that leather remains a vital and inclusive part of the LGBTQIA+ movement. Beyond the Prides, he actively joined leather and fe**sh socials at home and abroad, creating connections, welcoming newcomers, and strengthening bonds between clubs and individuals.

His year also carried purpose: fundraising for Sensoa to support sexual health and education, promoting sponsors who make events possible, and highlighting the passionate people who keep the community alive. At the same time, he embraced the joy of unforgettable parties and gatherings, celebrating freedom, friendship, and unity.

With authenticity and pride, he lived this title as a year of action and connection—and is now ready to carry that same spirit onto the European stage.

The eight Contestant for the Mr Leather Europe election 2026 is Pedro, Mr International Leather & Boots Spain 2025

Since his election in Seville on January 18, Pedro has taken part in a wide range of events across Spain and Europe, including the Blackbox opening in Madrid, the Barcelona Leather Meeting, Enamorados del Cuero Alicante, Mister Bavarian Fe**sh in Munich, Torremolinos Fe**sh Weekend, Bear Weekend Sitges, Mister Italy in Padova, and the Baleares Fe**sh Meeting as a jury member. He also joined the community at Folsom Europe in Berlin.

Looking ahead, he is set to take part in a diverse line-up of events. With each step of the journey, he proudly represents ILBS, fostering brotherhood and championing the values of respect, diversity, and inclusion.

Already introducing the seventh Contestant of the Mr Leather Europe election 2026,
Chuso, Mr Leather Spain 2025

Chuso, originally from Cáceres and now based in Madrid, has served in the Spanish Air Force since the age of 20. His leather journey began at 21, and in November 2024 he was elected Mister Leather Spain 2025 during Madrid Leather Weekend by the Leathermen Club of Spain.

Since then, he has proudly represented the Spanish leather community across Spain and internationally, attending major events like Darklands, Folsom Europe, EuroPride, and Amsterdam Pride. Along the way, he has met inspiring figures such as Stonewall survivor Fred Folk, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, bootblacks, and leaders of the Spanish LGBTQ+ movement.

His title year has focused on raising awareness around mental health, promoting intergenerational projects, fostering inclusivity for women and transgender members, and strengthening ties with international fe**sh communities.

Onze 3e jury member is onze huidige mister.

Jury Mr. Leather Netherlands Mees (hij/hem), 33 jaar uit Amsterdam

Mees is afgelopen jaar als Mister Leather Netherlands 2025 de ambassadeur geweest
van de Nederlandse leergemeenschap. Hij heeft zich ingezet om de leergemeenschap
zichtbaar en toegankelijk te maken. Hiervoor bezocht hij vele events grote bekende
maar ook kleinere events.

Het was een prachtig jaar, maar is hij ook benieuwd naar wat zijn opvolger met de titel
gaat doen en waar de nieuwe mister zich voor gaat inzetten tijdens zijn jaar.

Naast dit alles werkt hij ook in cafe de trut in amsterdam en is een bezige bij met socials
events en etentjes die hij bij hem thuis houd.
We zullen Mees komende maanden zeker nog veel voorbijkomen bij events en socials.

Onze 2e jury member is de man die al jaren onze penning maakt.

Jury Mr. Leather Netherlands Paul (hij/hem), 75 jaar uit Amsterdam

Paul Derrez initieerde in 1976 de in hedendaagse sieraden en vormgeving gespecialiseerde Galerie Ra in Amsterdam, die hij tot 2019 leidde.
Hij is ook zelf goud- en zilversmid en een oeuvre-overzicht van zijn werk is nog tot eind
november te zien in het Zilvermuseum in Schoonhoven.

In zijn werk komen regelmatig maatschappelijke en homo-erotische thema's aan de orde. Hij is een leerman pur sang en maakt elk jaar de penning voor Mr Leather. Paul is ok al jaren voor de Mister Leather Nertherlands verkiezing de maker van de
penning die de Mister ontvangt.

The sixth Contestant is Alex, Mr Leather France 2025

Alex is a 45-year-old biker from the suburbs of Paris, deeply passionate about motorcycles and guided by values of simplicity, respect, and solidarity. In 2025, he was honoured to be elected Mister Leather France in Lille — a moment of pride that also brought the responsibility of representing the community and embodying authenticity, visibility, and fraternity. Since his election, Alex has proudly participated in numerous prides and fe**sh events across France, as well as international gatherings like Folsom Europe in Berlin. He also joined the celebration of the 50th anniversary of ASMF in Paris, paying tribute to pioneers while celebrating the vitality and diversity of today’s fe**sh community. For Alex, being Mister Leather is not just a title, but a way of living, sharing passion, and building connections.
