This is my second song in the series || Jejak Suara Project ||

“Tanat Sus Beb” is a traditional song in the original language of the Kei Islands, Maluku.
I have been singing this song since childhood — through good times and difficult times — as a way of staying connected to my roots and identity.
This song carries the memory, culture, and spirit of the Kei Islands.
A voice from the past, living in the present. I hope you guys feel this song
as I do ❤️🙏🏽

This song carries my roots, my ancestors, and my heart.
With this series, I’m sharing traditional songs in the language of the Kei Islands —the islands where I have my roots.
The first song is “Duad N’batang Im Ru”, sung in the traditional language of the Kei Islands.
May these songs continue to live, be heard, and be remembered 🙏🏽❤️
