Students for Children

Students for Children is fully committed to enabling and improving education for all children in developing countries. Let's pass on the future!

We do this by organizing several events and fundraise money to support selected projects each year. Students for Children is solely made up of students who voluntarily fundraise money to support school projects in developing countries. We strive to enable and improve education for children in developing countries through organizing fundraising activities with partner schools in the Netherlands. Through education, children learn to have a better self-esteem and the necessary skills to build a better future for themselves and their community. Students for Children is een ontwikkelingsorganisatie die zich inzet om onderwijs voor zoveel mogelijk kinderen in ontwikkelingsgebieden mogelijk te maken. Door onderwijs te volgen ontwikkelen kinderen belangrijke vaardigheden, worden ze zelfstandiger en neemt hun kans op een goede toekomst toe! Door gebruik te maken van het enthousiasme van studenten en samen te werken met de lokale bevolking in onze projectgebieden willen wij ons doel bereiken.

Hi! My name is Linda and I am a third year PPLE student from the law major. I am so honoured and excited to be on the board for a second year, this time as chair. I have had firsthand experience seeing how Students for Children can make a real impact, and I am looking forward to supporting more projects this year. I believe that any small step towards global access to education is immensely important, and that this is a cause truly worthy of support.

Hi everyone! My name is Maya and I am the new Project Coordinator of Students for Children. I am from Romania and I am now a third-year student doing PPLE with a major in Politics. I have always been interested in how education can shape people’s lives and improve communities. I believe that children should have access to the opportunities that allow them to build the future they want for themselves. I love working with people, bringing ideas together and being able to contribute to something that has a real impact. I am very excited to be part of the Board this year and to see what we can accomplish together!

Hey everyone! My name is Arina, and I’m a 2nd-year PPLE student and a law major. I was raised in Finland and started my involvement with different volunteering and charity projects already there. I joined Students for Children because I think access to education and knowledge is the most important right children should have and I want to contribute to its realisation. First update from Dominion Rescue Foundation!🩷🤎

In the first round of this project, we were able to purchase reading materials for literacy students. We are extremely thankful to our community that supported this initiative.🥰 And excited to do more! Stay tuned for the next updates✨
