The Monene Project raises funds to help build a shelter that will accommodate and provide schooling facilities to street kids in Congo, DRC.

In the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kinshasa, the UN estimates that over 25000 kids live on the street. No body looks at those kids. They grow without the love and care they are entitled to have. At MONENE we believe that every child has the right to be loved and to feel safe. We therefore raise money that will help create a child-friendly, habitable shelter with schooling facilit

We have chosen this word because it is exactly what we want the kids to think of themselves. They need to know that they do matter and that they can achieve great things.
