Due to large scale feminist interventions, abortion up until the 24th week has been legal in Colombia since 2022. A pregnant person is supposed to be able to get an abortion without any reasons, no questions asked.

However, the implementation of a free and safe abortion faces institutional, social, and cultural resistance. In mid-sized cities like Pereira, stigma, misinformation, and medical authorities continue to operate as mechanisms of control over -mostly female- bodies.

The recent election of the 'Defenders of the Homeland' party has only made the situation regarding abortion rights more dire. Útera Casa Feminista fights back!

Since the nationwide protests from last summer, the political situation in Indonesia has worsened. The government has now submitted a bill that would automatically deploy the army to more governmental administrative bodies, such as for tax collection and budget regulation.

🔥Het Actiefonds zoekt vanaf september 2026 een Marketing & Communicatie Stagiair.🔥

Als stagiair marketing & communicatie sluit je je aan bij het MarCom-team van Het Actiefonds. Je helpt onder andere mee met het brainstormen voor nieuwe campagnes, schrijft actieverslagen, helpt bij de social media en ondersteunt bij evenementen.

Het is fijn als je een studie doet op het gebied van marketing/communicatie, maar op een andere manier affiniteit met dat gebied (bijvoorbeeld door ervaring met communicatie doen rondom acties, of ander vrijwilligerswerk) kan ook voldoende zijn.

Let op: voor deze vacature moet je vloeiend Nederlands en Engels spreken en schrijven. Een andere taal is een pré.

Je krijgt een stagevergoeding van € 305,- op basis van voltijd stage, dat komt neer op 175,- per maand. Je start bij voorkeur in september.

De extreme hitte van de afgelopen tijd heeft laten zien hoe gevaarlijk hitte is voor onze gezondheid. Bepaalde groepen worden extra hard geraakt, maar met deze temperaturen is iedereen kwetsbaar. Daarom komen we in actie.

De Pride Walk bestaat 15 jaar en WorldPride komt naar Amsterdam: dé kans om aan een wereldpubliek te laten zien dat pride ook een protest is. Loop mee op zaterdag 25 juli 2026!

Samen met duizenden mensen inspireren we Amsterdam, Den Haag, Europa en de hele wereld: samen staan we sterk, onze community is solidair en we eisen verandering. Het Actiefonds loopt mee, want Pride is én blijft een protest!

From July 25 until August 8, the streets of Amsterdam will be turned into the backdrop of WorldPride. Commemorating the first four gay marriages that were officiated in the city 25 years, the event emphasizes the need for ‘Unity’ as levels of ltbqia+ support have declined in recent years.

However, this theme of inclusivity seems painfully ironic considering that Pride Amsterdam’s head sponsors include Booking.com, KPN and KLM - multinationals that pollute the environment and are complicit in the genocide of the Palestinian people according to the United Nations. Pride Amsterdam, thus, fights for the inclusion and freedom of only some (q***r) people even though no-one can be free until everyone sis free!

On the 27th of June, .amsterdam offered an alternative, more radical protest to give a platform to unheard voices in the q***r community and provide mutual aid through fundraising. Guest speakers addressed ableism, trans-activism and the position of immigrants within the q***r community. Together, the protestors made themselves heard in Amsterdam’s public spaces and showed that Pride can be combined with radical solidarity.
