When Fareshta Rahmani arrived in the Netherlands, her future was uncertain. A trained pharmacist from Afghanistan, she had the knowledge, skills, and determination, but not yet the opportunity to continue her professional path.
Through Delitelabs’ UP Collective program, she found a new way forward.
She tested business ideas, from saffron tea to saffron-infused cheese.
By graduation, Fareshta had transformed her challenges into an entrepreneurial journey. She even launched a small Instagram venture showcasing her handicrafts while she waits for the chance to bring her saffron products officially to Dutch markets: dreamhandmade
Her advice to newcomers? “Start somewhere, learn everywhere.”
We’re proud of Fareshta and grateful for her mentor John and partners who support talents like her.
