For 25 years, these principles have guided AFEW International’s work with communities across Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Ukraine has long been an integral part of the AFEW Partnership and our shared regional work.

On Ukraine’s Independence Day, we stand with our partners, colleagues and communities across Ukraine. We honour their strength and their commitment to building a healthier and more inclusive future—one in which every person can live with dignity, participate meaningfully and shape their own life.

Кто нарушает права ЛГБТ-людей? 🏳️‍🌈

Мы занимаемся сбором данных о нарушениях с 2017 года и можем анализировать ситуацию в разрезе нескольких лет. Что же изменилось? И изменилось ли?

Полиция/милиция несколько лет держалась в анти-топе нарушителей прав ЛГБТ-людей. За 2025 год ситуация показывает нам следующие цифры:
▪ неизвестные лица — 17,9%
▪ правоохранительные органы — 14,4%
▪ медицинские работники — 13,6%
▪ коллеги/одногруппники — 9,7%
▪ работники сферы услуг — 9,4%
▪ работодатели — 9,3%
▪ партнеры — 8,8%
▪ родственники — 6,3%
▪ соседи — 6,2%

Мы видим, что нарушения все больше переходят в частную сферу. Это важный момент, ведь такие нарушения сложнее фиксировать и добиваться тветственности за правонарушения.
Как видно, полиция/милиция, как силовая структура, все еще остается среди частых нарушителей прав. И как результат, квир-люди в регионе ощущают опасность и от государства, и от ближнего окружения.

This meeting will shape global commitments that directly impact country-level HIV programmes. PLHIV voices must be at the centre.
