Our Story

The DeeAispora Foundation was born of a desire to share the rich cultural heritage of Ireland and connect Dutch and International audiences of all ages, primarily through the medium of music at the annual St. Patrick’s Festival in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. St. Patrick’s Festival is the only event in the Dutch capital that celebrates Ireland’s premier national holiday, St. Patrick’s Day where culture is leading and offers a diverse programme to people of all ages.

The DeeAispora Foundation was established in 2014 by Aisling Casey, Principal Oboist with The Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra together with Deirdre Daly, an Amsterdam based designer & photographer.
