Stichting Vrijwillige Internationale Aktie (VIA) organiseert internationale vrijwilligersprojecten in Nederland. Daarnaast zenden we Nederlandse vrijwilligers uit naar projecten in het buitenland. VIA Netherlands organises international voluntary projects in Netherlands.

In honour of 🌟 International Volunteer Day 🌟, we wanted to take a minute of appreciation for the Mix&Match Volunteer Fair last Saturday in Den Haag from ! 👏❤️

Last Saturday, we were able to connect with so many enthusiastic and passionate volunteers, and other organisations. The energy and atmosphere was unmatched with this lively spirit bridging people and organisations. ❤️

There was laughter, smiles, serious engagement and so much hope 🤗.

There is no better way to spend a Saturday 😉! We hope to see you there next year 🥰!

As we come to the end of our ☮️ International Week of Peace ☮️ Campaign, we would like to finally focus on peace. There is no set definition of peace. Peace is constantly changing and therefore, how we advocate for peace needs to keep changing as well.

Today on, International Peace Day, we hope this campaign has prompted you to see today and this past week in a different light. And although we celebrate peace today, we advocate for peace everyday 🕊️.

We barely scratch the surface as there are so many battles for peace that we did not mention and others that go unnoticed. That is why it is important to take a moment to learn more about what is going on around the world and even your local community before talking about peace.

We are excited to announce our Climate Change Dialogue event, in collaboration with the Open Dialogue International Foundation, where we aim to make a significant difference in drawing actionable conclusions on sustainability in fashion across the globe and in the Netherlands.🌏

This event focuses on the narrative and issues of sustainability within the fashion industry across the globe and in the Netherlands, discussing environmental (textile dumps, CO2 emissions), social (climate justice, activism, local initiatives), economic (circular value chains) and political (policies, regulations) aspects of the issue.

Together we will discuss further solutions, new focus points and what local action we take in the Netherlands to make a change.

🌟Everyone from all backgrounds of knowledge are welcome, this is an event where we want to learn and hear from all perspectives! 🌟
