For 25+ rescued animals, this shelter is their forever home. 🐾

But whenever it rains, the land floods, the ground turns to mud and their little houses are damaged.

The main water flow has now been cleared. Now, the shelter needs materials to rebuild the ground, fencing and little houses.

Your support can help give these animals a dry and safer place to live. πŸ’š

Hi everyone, my name is Fy. I'm 25, an environmental engineer, and I run the Turtle Program at URCI.

The ocean has always been incredibly important to me. I love its biodiversity, its wildlife and the ecosystems that make life on our planet possible.
But working in marine conservation comes with a unique challenge: the ocean is constantly changing.

Storms, weather and sea conditions can change quickly, which means field researchers and conservationists need to be prepared to adapt.

That's why I'm fundraising for my Divemaster certification.
This isn't simply about learning to dive better.
Becoming a Divemaster will help me develop the practical skills I need to work more safely and effectively in different underwater conditions. It will also allow me to expand my work beyond turtle monitoring and become more involved in marine biodiversity and environmental research.

With those skills, I hope to:
🐒 Continue turtle monitoring
πŸ”¬ Participate in more marine research
🌊 Study other marine biodiversity
πŸ“š Develop my fieldwork skills
🌱 Contribute more effectively to conservation

I'm incredibly thankful to everyone who has already donated.
We've raised almost half of the amount we need, which is a huge step forward.
But we're not there yet.

If marine conservation is something you care about, I'd be grateful for any support β€” whether that's a donation or simply sharing this campaign with someone who might want to help.

The ocean gives us so much. I'm hoping to gain the skills to give something back. 🌊

Help for the stray dogs in Kozani, Northern Greece

Since 2013, I have been working every day to give stray dogs a safer and better life.

I have built two shelters to provide them with food, medical care, protection, and the opportunity to find loving homes. More than 600 dogs have found their forever homes, over 900 dogs have been neutered, and more than 70 dogs are fed every day.

Nancy is still waiting. She was rescued from the streets of Kozani as a puppy and has now spent five years in the shelter. She is healthy, neutered, sweet, social, and ready for a loving family.

There are still many dogs who need care, food, and protection.

Your support can help keep this rescue going and give more dogs the life they deserve. πŸ’š

The earthquake may be over, but many animals are still waiting for help. 🐾

Hello everyone, my name is Blanca, and I'm from Curaçao.
I'm raising funds to support animals affected by the earthquake that struck Venezuela on June 24.
I'm deeply grateful for everyone who has already supported this campaign. Your help has allowed us to reach animals and the people working tirelessly to rescue them.
But there is still a long way to go
In areas including La Guaira, Catia la Mar and Caraballeda, many animals are still living on the streets or waiting to be rescued from areas affected by the earthquake.
Some have lost their homes.
Some need medical attention.
And many have no one to care for them.

Our goal is to raise €25,000 so we can continue supporting local rescuers, shelters, clinics and animal activists on the ground.
The campaign supports several important areas:
🐾 Rescue: helping teams search affected areas and bring animals to safety.
πŸ₯ Medical care: supporting temporary clinics and veterinary treatment.
🏠 Reception centres: helping organisations care for animals after rescue.
βœ‚οΈ Sterilisation: helping animals that have been rescued receive sterilisation so they can have a safer future and help prevent further suffering.

🍲 Essential supplies: helping get food and other necessities to animals and the people caring for them.
We are already working with several reception centres and local organisations, as well as activists who continue searching damaged areas for animals.
With our partners in Venezuela, including Patitas Callejeras, we're also working to improve the delivery of supplies from Curaçao to Venezuela.
But we need more help to reach more animals.

This campaign isn't only about rescuing an animal today. It's about helping create a safer future for animals who have already lost so much.
❀️ If you can donate, thank you.
πŸ“² If you can't, please share the campaign.
Because sometimes one share is what connects an animal in need with someone who can help.

I went to the World Championships with a dream. I came home with 3 medals. πŸ₯‡πŸ₯ˆπŸ₯ˆ
Hi everyone, I'm Leonor, an OCR athlete from Portugal.

Obstacle Course Racing is a sport that combines running with obstacles that test strength, endurance, balance, precision and mental resilience.

This August, I had the opportunity to compete at the World Championships β€” something that required a significant financial commitment.
Thanks to the support I received through my crowdfunding campaign, I was able to make that journey.

And the result was something I'll never forget:
πŸ₯‡ 1st place β€” Standard Course
Around 10 km and at least 25 obstacles.
πŸ₯ˆ 2nd place β€” Short Course
Around 3–4 km with fewer obstacles.
πŸ₯ˆ 2nd place β€” 400m Course
All three results were achieved in my 20–24 age group.
Coming home with three medals was an incredible moment. But I'm not ready to stop yet.
My competition season continues until December, and most of my upcoming races will be in Spain, competing in the OCR Series.

The level there is extremely strong, and I'm excited to test myself against some great athletes.

But competing internationally comes with real costs:
✈️ Travel
🏁 Registration fees
🏨 Accommodation
πŸ’ͺ Other competition expenses
That's why I'm keeping my crowdfunding campaign open.

If you've already donated, shared my story or supported me in any way, thank you. You helped make that World Championship experience possible.
If you'd like to support my remaining season, every contribution helps β€” and sharing the campaign is also a huge help.
The World Championships gave me three medals. Now I'm looking ahead to December. Let's see what we can achieve next. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ΉπŸ”₯

We're driving 7,400 km for something bigger than an adventure. πŸ’š

Hi everyone, we're Otto & Mechteld from the Netherlands.

On 17 October 2026, we're starting a pretty crazy journey: driving approximately 7,400 kilometres from the Netherlands all the way to Brufut, Gambia.
We're doing it as part of the Gambia Challenge β€” but the road trip itself isn't the real reason we're going.

We're doing this for the Brufut Health Center.
The health center provides essential care to people in Brufut and the surrounding communities. Thanks to previous support, important improvements have already been made, including the renovation and reopening of the maternity unit.
But there is still a lot of work ahead.

The next improvements will focus on the:
πŸ”¬ Laboratory
🩸 Blood bank
πŸ₯ Emergency department
πŸ› οΈ Facilities and medical equipment
And there's a special twist to our journey.

After reaching Gambia, our car will be auctioned to the highest bidder locally. The proceeds will go to the Brufut Foundation and ultimately support the Brufut Health Center.
So we're not just driving to Gambia.
We're taking something with us that can continue making a difference after we arrive.
We'll leave the Netherlands on 17 October and aim to arrive in Gambia on 7 November 2026.

You can be part of the journey too.
πŸ’š Donate if you can.
πŸ“² Share the fundraiser if you can't.
πŸš— Follow our adventure on Instagram: Rally to Brufut
Because sometimes a road trip can be about much more than the road.
Let's make these 7,400 kilometres count.

Every step forward takes strength, patience, and ongoing rehabilitation. πŸ’š

After multiple surgeries and severe spinal and leg injuries, I’m now working every day to learn to walk again. I’ve started gait training with a body-weight support system, but the road ahead is still long and rehabilitation is costly.

Your donation can help support physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and essential recovery care. If you can’t donate, sharing the fundraiser can help it reach someone who can.

With WhyDonate, fundraisers have a 0% platform fee and secure donation processing.

Want people to trust your fundraiser? Start with transparency. πŸ’š

When someone considers supporting your cause, they deserve to understand exactly what their contribution will help with.

Be clear about what you’re raising money for.
Be transparent about where the money will go.
And keep your supporters updated as your fundraiser progresses.

People want to see the journey, not just the fundraising goal.

Because trust grows when supporters feel informed and connected.

Europe is more than a political union. It is a promise. πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί
A promise that public power is exercised within the rule of law.
That decisions are based on facts.
That professional competence matters.
That people are treated with fairness, dignity and respect.
But what happens when those principles are tested by administrative decisions?
This legal action raises an important question:
Where are the limits of administrative discretion?
Can professional careers be determined by objectively established facts β€” or by assumptions about what someone might do in the future?
Can unwritten expectations take precedence over legal certainty?
And can citizens effectively challenge decisions made by public authorities?
The campaign seeks to bring these questions before the EU General Court.
Because strong institutions aren't institutions that can never be questioned.
Strong institutions are institutions whose decisions can be independently reviewed.
This is why the campaign is about more than one individual case.
It is about the kind of Europe we want to live in:
βš–οΈ A Europe where the rule of law protects everyone equally.
πŸ“œ A Europe where written rules matter.
πŸ”Ž A Europe where decisions can be challenged.
🀝 A Europe where professional merit matters more than unsupported assumptions.
πŸ›οΈ A Europe where public authorities remain accountable.
The legal process will ultimately be expensive, but the campaign believes that justice and accountability are worth defending.
If you believe these principles matter:
πŸ’š Support the campaign if you can.
πŸ“² Share it if you can.
Every contribution helps bring these questions before the court. Every share helps the conversation reach further.
