🖤15 dancers explore the state of nightlife, post-clubbing.
Disambiguation probes the libidinal drive and the sensorial overload linked to the diversified milieus of nocturnal life in its most alluring, enigmatic, and shadowed dimensions.

𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗭𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶 | 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
In this performance crafts a system where human perception converges with the presence of other-than-human agencies. The fifteen dancers form a pulsing structure in which they extend toward and withdraw from the audience's perceptual field. Like subterranean waves a hybrid circuit of sensation is generated.

Friday June 12th choreographer Elisa Zuppini will be presenting her beautiful performance Disambiguation during De Dansweek '26 in Theater Rotterdam.

15 dancers explore the state of nightlife, post-clubbing. The dancers explore an insomniac framework, particularly that of 'post-clubbing' in which the stimulating effects and aftereffects of hedonistic nocturnal life are examined.

Sound, theatre, memory, movement.
Two artists meeting live on stage for an improvisation unfolding entirely in the moment.

Amber Docters van Leeuwen is a composer and performer whose work emerges from a research-based approach, weaving together sound, theatre, and documentary elements. She studied at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague and the Manhattan School of Music in New York.
Klára Alexová is an actress with a background in dance theatre. Moving between the Czech Republic and The Netherlands, her work crosses disciplines and worlds. She has collaborated with artists and companies including Boukje Schweigman, Davy Pieters, and The Paper Ensemble.

One encounter.
A live conversation between sound, body, and imagination.

Raphael Vanoli & Tú Hoàng

Distorted guitar landscapes meet fluid movement and martial precision.
Two artists entering the unknown together, live on stage. Guitarist Raphael Vanoli has developed his own sonic universe through electronics and unorthodox techniques. He is part of the duo Knalpot and collaborates with artists and ensembles including Jameszoo, Slagwerk Den Haag, and Asko|Schönberg.

Tú Hoàng is a Vietnamese-Dutch choreographer and movement artist known for his fusion of contemporary dance, martial arts, urban styles, and Taoist philosophy. His work moves across dance, film, and multidisciplinary platforms around the world.

What happens when a cellist and a choreographer meet for the very first time, live on stage?

Cellist and composer creates dazzling sound worlds where lyricism, groove, texture, and dynamics constantly shift and collide. Awarded with prizes such as the Dutch Jazz Competition, De Jonge Makers Prize, and Keep an Eye The Records, his music moves between intensity and fragility.
ved creates work that feels both raw and poetic, investigating movement as a living, breathing language. Born in the US and now based in The Netherlands, she has danced with Royal Swedish Ballet and Nederlands Dans Theater, among others.

Presenting: Annelie Koning & Miri Lee
The voice forms the heart of the work of Annelie Koning. The Amsterdam-based performer and singer moves between music and theatre, exploring the voice in relation to poetry, among others in the formation BLIK, which she co-founded with Luc Ex and Tristan Renfrow.
Miri Lee is an imprographer and choreographer who has left a distinct mark on Amsterdam’s artistic landscape. She is known for her collaborations with leading figures across visual art, music, science, poetry, theatre, and film.
Two distinct languages meeting in the moment.
