We’re pleased to welcome back István Martis, CEO of Profession.hu.

From 2017 to 2021, István was a member of the Board of Ringier Axel Springer Media AG and Head of the company's Central and Eastern European job portal portfolio.

Over the years, Profession.hu has become a leading digital company in the Hungarian market, currently with 220 employees, providing a full range of recruitment solutions from job postings to recruitment services at every career level and in every region of the country. The company has won the "Best Workplace" award several times.

Prior to that, István spent nearly ten years in consulting, working in Hungary, Central and Eastern Europe, and the United States at a boutique firm and in the team of Korn/ Ferry International.

It is great to have back Laura Szabó, who has been working with digital marketplaces for the past 15 years, across recruitment, classifieds, and real estate.

She was CPO at ingatlan.com and is the founder and lead advisor at Carangid - consultant for marketplaces, where she works with leading marketplaces on product, strategy, and business model transformation. Her clients include OLX in Europe, Carousell in Asia, and Info Edge in India.

At the Digital Marketplaces Conference, Laura will explore how AI could fundamentally challenge the long-term business model of job boards - and what marketplaces can do to adapt before the impact becomes visible in their core business.

We’re pleased to welcome Fausto Dassenno, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Subito, Italy's no. 1 platform for sustainable buying and selling and the country's second-largest e-commerce platform.

Fausto founded his own software house while at university, developing websites and apps across a range of sectors for major clients. In 2011 he moved at eBay Classifieds, where he went from developer to Head of Product in short order. After a spell at Jobrapido.it in 2015 as Product Director, in 2016 he began a significant period working abroad - first at gumtree.com as Head of Product and Technology, then at eFinancialCareers as Global VP Product.

Returning to Italy in 2020 as CPO he moved to the role of CTPO in 2023 now overseeing the whole product, tech and data team.

He advocates for blockchain and AI and has published two books on those subjects.
