the dormant office the dormant office (tdo) is a research initiative committed to fostering and disseminating critical thoughts and aesthetic interventions.

Operating from a small office in Amsterdam, tdo develops long-term research programs that probe the affective, technological, and political actualities of life under capitalism. Through reading sessions, workshops, lectures, collaborations and commissioned interventions, tdo’s public program enables rigorous study and exchange together with distinguished artists, cultural practitioners, philosophers, and psychoanalysts.
