What a show! S*x Worker’s Festival was a hit!

The show was kicked off by the fabulous MC Goddess Coco, followed by the erotic market where visitors got to buy beautiful erotic artwork but also could get information from the GGD & Amsterdam Center for S*x Workers surrounding s*x safety and s*x work.

An amazing line-up of BIPOC trans s*x workers took the stage: DJs, performers, and spoken word artists celebrating the s*x worker community in Amsterdam. The event was a showcase of talent whilst also shining a spotlight on Amsterdam’s s*x worker community! ❤️‍🔥

During the opening of Bar Bario’s Gender(less): Visions from the (non-existent) Binaries expo, the space challenged the traditional notions of gender by showcasing works from artists who explore non-binary and gender-fluid identities.

Through diverse mediums, visitors were invited to experience visions that transcend binary constraints and celebrate the full spectrum of gender expression. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Sunshine, snacks, and stories: A picnic at Tolhuistuin where love and laughter were shared. Bi+ organized a picnic for anyone bi, pan, q***r, or who is still figuring out their identity. Young Bi+ people got to meet like-minded people and bonded over snacks, played games, swapped stories, and celebrated our beautiful, vibrant selves.

Colored Collective and Bi+ Nederland came together to host a safe space for people who identify as bi+ and bicultural. The kick-off started with a panel featuring diverse perspectives, then broke out into smaller discussion groups to share our own experiences. It was a day of connection, conversation, and community! ❤️

On Wednesday, July 24, we will organize our second Trans Diner edition in the city center of Amsterdam. Trans people and allies are welcomed to this amazing, unique, and historic moment to celebrate gender diversity in all its forms. The dinner takes place in a private space in the open air.
