Recently I read that we’re living through a “friendship recession”....and I can't stop thinking about it!

Mamas are feeling it hard. Studies show 65% of parents report feeling lonely, and adults now spend less than half the time with friends compared to a decade ago. Half the time!!! 😮

Maybe what mamas need most isn’t more advice or another group chat - it’s more coffees, more chats, more opportunities to meet like minded women in real life.

Why dies motherhood feel like this constant juggle of needing people, while also being the person everyone needs?

People talk about this 'village' and being a 'villager' a lot. But OMG give us a break 🫠

Maybe that’s why the village looks different now.
A quick text in the group chat, a barista who remembers your order, a smile at school drop-off that says “I see you.” Saying "yes" to a brunch with strangers, even if it's out of your comfort zone 🥰

It’s not perfect, we know that. It’s just real.

And maybe being the village today just means doing one small thing with what you’ve got mama 💪
