MENA for personal and political freedoms

MENA organisation is a non-governmental organisation focusing on promoting liberty and equality for everyone in the MENA region.

The organisation was founded in September 2022 with its initial focus on Egypt. We believe that people can only reach their full potential when they are able to speak up and live their lives in freedom, away from political and social prosecution. That is why the slogan of our organisation is: ‘we are not free until we are all free.’ This results in us focusing on all targeted communities facing di

scrimination in the MENA region. Our activities in the region include raising awareness about injustice and organising events related to increasing knowledge about possible legal aid for prosecuted individuals. We want to create spaces where everyone feels welcome especially for people that feel like they do not belong anywhere. Our vision is to create a MENA region free of violence and discrimination, a free and prosperous region that is not ruled by oppressive dictators.
