Our Textile Tour is an invitation to learn from the knowledge carried through generations, from the delicate stitches of randa to the symbols, colours and rhythms woven into Amuzgo textiles. We believe traditions are not meant to remain still. They live when they are practised, shared, valued and given space to grow. Through our workshops, we hope to create a bridge between generations and places, allowing ancestral knowledge to travel while keeping its roots close to the communities who carry it. Every loom, every stitch, every student becomes part of that journey.
Nuestro Tour Textil es una invitación a acercarnos a los saberes transmitidos de generación en generación, desde las delicadas puntadas de randa hasta los símbolos, colores y ritmos tejidos en los textiles amuzgos. Creemos que las tradiciones no están hechas para permanecer inmóviles. Viven cuando se practican, se comparten, se valoran y encuentran nuevas formas de crecer. A través de nuestros talleres, queremos crear un puente entre generaciones y territorios, permitiendo que los saberes ancestrales viajen y se compartan, sin perder sus raíces en las comunidades que los mantienen vivos. Cada telar, cada puntada, cada estudiante se convierte en parte de ese camino.
