📚 140 children. One new school year. Countless possibilities.

Last week, Zolange Foundation provided school supplies to 140 children at Fondation Pauline Albinos in Kinshasa, DRC, as they prepare to begin a new school year.

Access to education is not only about being able to attend school. It is also about having the basic tools needed to participate, learn and feel prepared.

For these 140 children, we were grateful to contribute school supplies that will support them throughout the year.

At Zolange Foundation, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and dream beyond their circumstances.

We had the joy of serving 35 orphaned children aged 6–12 with:
• Workshops on dental hygiene, hydration, and education
• Creative activities like painting & drawing
• Playtime and a beautiful buffet at Tanzuriam Parc

This day wouldn’t have been possible without so many amazing people and partners:
- Our dedicated Kinshasa team for logistics, workshops & media
- , One Graphic, and Tanzuriam Parc for their partnership
- — supporting Zolange Foundation’s educational programs since 2020
- for toothbrushes, toothpaste & a demo model for hygiene training
- for donating backpacks & school supplies (to be distributed soon)

No child should spend their days in mines, markets, or construction sites.
No child should be forced to grow up before they’re ready.

But in the DRC — and around the world — millions of children still wake up to work, not school. To survival, not childhood.

At Zolange Foundation, we believe every child deserves:
• A chance to learn
• A chance to play
• A chance to dream

We stand against all forms of child labour.
We stand for childhood.
We stand with children.

Imagine starting school with no supplies, no family, and no one cheering you on.

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, thousands of orphaned children face this every year.
But this August, we’re giving 75 children a day to be seen, heard, and loved.

We’ll provide:
✏️ Empowerment through educational & health workshops
💛 Emotional care and visibility
🎒 Backpacks with school supplies & hygiene essentials
🥗 Meals, snacks, and drinks
🎨 Space to play, create & simply be a child

We’re excited to share that is partnering with us for our Back-to-School Project in Kinshasa!

Thanks to their generous donation of dental hygiene supplies, children aged 6–8 will get to learn the importance of oral care through fun, hands-on activities in our hygiene workshop.

Community support like this not only helps kids start the school year strong — it reminds them that they are seen, valued, and supported.
