🚨 PLEASE HELP US KEEP THESE TWO GIRLS TOGETHER! 🚨
💔 Izzy and Molly need a new home — and we are desperate to find one BEFORE they end up back on the streets.
Izzy (Isleta) was once just days away from dying.
She was found emaciated and starving on a deserted island in Lake Granada after a tourist spotted her from a boat and contacted Nica Paws. We rescued her, nursed her back to health, and found her a wonderful home.
Then we discovered something heartbreaking…
Izzy is deaf. 💔
But while she was being fostered, she became best friends with another rescued street dog named Molly.
Molly became Izzy’s ears. 🐶❤️🐶
They are inseparable.
Thankfully, they were adopted together by a wonderful local family here in Nicaragua. They have been loved and cared for ever since.
But now their family is facing difficult circumstances and must leave Nicaragua for work in Costa Rica. They are struggling to find housing that will allow two large dogs.
And our hearts are breaking.
💔 We cannot let Izzy and Molly go back to the streets.
Nica Paws does not have a shelter, and we simply don’t have room to take them in.
So we’re asking for your help.
🏡 We need to find a loving home for IZzy AND Molly TOGETHER.
They are sweet, well-behaved girls with lots of energy. They need someone who can give them exercise, love, attention — and most importantly, a safe place where they can remain together. We think they are both around four years old. Both have been spayed. We will make sure they are up-to-date on their vaccines and tick medicine.
