Waves of Hope follows a mission to bring travelers, surfers and the local communities together through engagement and community service.

Waves of Hope is a not-for-profit organization partnered with El Coco Loco, an eco-resort located in the small beach-side community of El Manzano Uno in northern Nicaragua. The aim of Waves of Hope is to share the benefits of tourism with the local community and to help the community members better their lives in a sustainable fashion. Our focus is on working with the community on meaningful projects and engaging them to become personally invested in these projects.
