It was a few minutes before the “eleventh hour”
When he walked into the door of our lives…
The classroom was his stage:
He taught us with an almost divine urgency.
He taught us to rehearse the lessons of life.
He touched our hearts and brightened our minds.
He was a polisher of character,
an architect of critical thinking.
He looked at words as a sublime blanket
that would cover our thoughts for eternity,
ceaselessly reminded us:
careful thoughts give birth to exquisite expressions,
while we become dream creators and recreators of dreams.
He taught us to think in verse, to love poetry, to speak in prose.
He was a never-ending fountain of inspiration,
where we pilgrimage to quench our thirst
for knowledge.
He came, He taught, He inspired.
