Since its founding in 1998, the institution has been dedicated to improving the well-being of those in need in Nicaragua. Hope Earth Foundation has also been a co-founder and sponsor of two rehabilitation centers for alcohol and drug recovery facilities in the rural northern part of Nicaragua, post-war and poverty stricken regions, where the past civil war created much family disruption and displa

cement. Alcohol became the scape-valve for tens of thousands of former soldiers and contra-revolution guerrila fighters.
