American Football for African Mission

American Football for African Mission First American football NGO in Africa with a 501(c)(3) in the State Of North Carolina; USA. With Nigeria being the reference point to grow the sport.

Football is one of the most practiced sports in America and we at (AFFAM) have found it noble to introduce the sport in Africa. For over five years to be precise, since the summer of 2010, the sport was first introduced and practiced in West Africa. The selfless effort of former NFL players and Coaches alike exporting the sport to Nigeria. Ricardo Dickerson a onetime NFL player with the Oakland Ra

iders and Coach Daryl Hayes; founder of “Football Mission”; both worked hard to introduce the sport in Nigeria. Ever since the sport have being ensured to survive by the sacrificial work of Coach Amadi Chukwuemeka Innocent (Pioneer founder of the first American Football Team in West Africa, “Ahmadu Bello University Titans”) and his crew. Hence forth AFFAM was created as a credible platform to step up the initiative of keeping the sport alive and one of our uncompromising mission of reaching out to all borders of the African continent.
