World ๐ŸŒŽ Humanitarian ๐ŸŒŽ Day

๐ŸŒŽ ๐Ÿค

World Humanitarian Day reminds us of the power of collective action to ease suffering and build resilience in communities facing crisis. It is a day to honour the courage of those who serve others and to reaffirm our shared responsibility and commitment to protect the most vulnerable.

Our Youth in Work project stands firmly with this spirit. By equipping young people with meaningful skills, opportunities, and pathways into decent work, we help them become active contributors to stronger, more compassionate communitiesโ€”turning hope into practical action that supports humanitarian values every day.

DISCLAIMER!

Warm greetings from APADE.

It has come to the notice of the Organisation that some lists are in circulation across our implementing communities in the name of shortlist for the 2026 innovation challenge business grant.

We wish to categorically state that there is no such thing as shortlisted names or final list of innovation challenge winners at this time. The list making rounds is fake and should be disregarded.

It is important to state that the recently concluded activity is part of the process to verify participants and the businesses they do based on the submitted applications.

We urge our participants and other members of the public to be calm. As an organisation, we are committed to ensuring transparency and accountability across our activities and implementation.

To this end, we encourage our participants to keep touch with their respective community based volunteers and other officials mediums to seek for clarification where needed and avoid becoming victims of fraud.

Different Contexts, Common Aspirations

This International Youth Day 2026, we celebrate the powerful truth that while young people grow up in vastly different realitiesโ€”shaped by geography, opportunity, climate, and accessโ€”their dreams remain strikingly similar: dignity, meaningful participation, quality education, and above all, decent work that builds a sustainable future. Across least developed countries, refugee settlements, and communities facing economic barriers, youth continue to lead with resilience and innovation. At the Youth in Work Project, we walk alongside them every day turning shared aspirations and dreams into real pathways through practical skills training, hands-on production experience, entrepreneurship support, and empowerment initiatives that prioritise gender equality and sustainable livelihoods.

From our capacity strengthening and machine support to community and stakeholder partnerships that open doors to income and opportunity, we are proving that when young people are equipped and trusted, different contexts become sources of strength rather than limitation. This , we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring no young person is left behindโ€”because their common aspirations for work, independence, and a brighter tomorrow deserve global solidarity and local action. Join us in amplifying youth voices and investing in the future they are already building.

When opportunity meets target intervention!

Realising the much potential in the youth workforce and the need to address youth unemployment, drive business growth and create build sustainable livelihoods, the Youth in Work Project being implemented by APADE in collaboration with the World Food Program supported by Mastercard Foundation is transforming lives through targeted interventions.

These interventions are the bedrock of our success under the Youth in Work Project. Project participants have access to:
