In many parts of Kwali Area Council, Abuja, countless young girls face a silent struggle every month. Because they cannot afford sanitary pads, some miss school, lose confidence and are forced to use unsafe alternatives that put their health at risk.
Menstruation is natural, but for many girls in our communities, it has become a barrier to education, self-esteem and opportunity.
Through our "Pad a Girl Project", we aim to reach vulnerable girls with sanitary pads, menstrual hygiene education and encouragement to help them stay healthy, confident and in school with our team of professional who are trained to handle such.
We cannot do this alone.
