Petrol prices rose sharply at the pumps, reaching N1,325 per litre at NNPC outlets, due to an increase in the gantry price by the Dangote Refinery.

This hike, driven by global oil market volatility and unresolved crises, has frustrated motorists and increased the cost of energy for Nigerians.

Industry groups are urging the government to provide relief measures and stabilise supply to ease the burden on citizens.
