Today, in the beautiful city of Yola, As the morning sun casts its warm rays, Access Academy and Yerima Secondary School buzzed with excitement as it received us. The occasion? A sensitization program was held by WiNN Nigeria, in collaboration with Sustainable Actions for Nature (SAN), Yola Women in Trade Cooperative Society (YWIT) and HadinKai Women Cooperative Society, to commemorate World Environment Day.
To ensure the success of this crucial endeavor, These organizations brought together their diverse expertise, passion, and commitment to foster a sustainable future for generations to come.
It was emphasized that the responsibility rests upon every individual to reduce, reuse, and recycle plastic materials to protect our fragile ecosystems, Practical solutions were shared and the campaign was flagged off with tree planting, the event served as a catalyst for a vibrant movement that will reverberate far beyond the confines of the schools.
