Margaret is about 22 years old, lives in an IDP camp, and is still in primary school.

To support herself and pay her school fees, she works as an assistant in a local kitchen. Despite the challenges she faces as a physically challenged young woman, Margaret continues to show up, keep learning, and refuse to give up on her dreams.

When her name was announced as one of the beneficiaries of the IIMoses 30/30/30 Scholarship at the Audacity Conference in Yola, the entire hall was deeply moved.
And then, something even more beautiful happened.
Senator Ishaku Abbo, Labour Party Gubernatorial Candidate, supported her with an additional ₦200,000, while Mr. Julius Mbidomti added ₦100,000.
So, from a ₦30,000 scholarship, Margaret went home that day with ₦330,000 in total financial support.

For someone who has had to work just to stay in school, this support means more than money. It is relief. It is encouragement. It is a reminder that her story matters and that her dreams are worth supporting.
Before the conference, A Volunteer visited Margaret to assess her situation. When he returned, he told us about her determination, resilience, and willingness to keep trying despite everything she had been through.
And she got it.

The moment everyone came down to celebrate with her was unforgettable. No barriers. No discrimination. Just people coming together to celebrate possibility, dignity, and hope.
This is what inclusion looks like.

We are thrilled to celebrate the impact of the IIMOSES Scholarship, in partnership with Life All Round Human Development Initiative (LAROHD).

Through this partnership, we were able to sponsor 10 internally displaced persons (IDPs) to participate in the Audacity Conference—creating an opportunity for them to learn, connect, grow, and be inspired to pursue greater possibilities.

We are grateful to our sponsors and partners for making this possible. We are especially proud that LAROHD was part of this journey—contributing to the development, empowerment, and encouragement of these participants.

THE I I MOSES 30/30/30 SCHOLARSHIP

On 18th September, I will be hitting the third floor. Omoh, I don wait dey taya, finally I will soon be there 😆

I am not happy sha... I am getting old.

But beyond that, I am happy to have found purpose and to be living a life of impact, to the point sometimes I feel older.

Omoh, I dey take responsibility, but that is gist for another post.

Ladies and gentlemen, The I I Moses 30/30/30 Scholarship is here — for Adamawa citizens in university, and for NYSC Corps Members serving in Adamawa.

It is a one-time scholarship to bring a little relief to your life journey, because I know how tough it is to go through school and the one-year service.

They said charity begins at home, so before we get into the larger world, let's start from here.

One time I was sent out of school because of school fees. I was the head boy then.

We were about to start exams, and the school accountant walked in and sent me away because my school fees were unpaid.

Today, I stand as a testimony, and I am privileged to be able to facilitate relief for children who are struggling with the inability to afford school fees.

I was there before, so I understand exactly how it feels to be very brilliant and yet unable to afford your fees.

Together with LAROHD Initiative, we are supporting children in the IDP camp with a one time scholarship to relieve them of the burden.

I realized sometimes you have to go through some things so you can be kind to those experiencing the same.

The children in the IDP camp are not left behind.

All thanks to The Audacity Conference Yola for honoring my 30th birthday this way.

Truly, this will be a Wholesome event.
