We understand the challenges posed by the temporary suspension of USAID funding, and it’s natural to feel uncertain during this time. However, as humanitarians, we are called to rise above such obstacles and continue serving those who depend on us. The survivors are counting on us during this difficult period. They look to us for hope, support, and reassurance that they are not alone. Let’s remember that their well-being is our shared responsibility.

While the suspension may seem like a setback, it also presents an opportunity for innovation and collaboration. These are our communities, our states, and our country. Together, we can find new ways to navigate this situation and ensure that progress continues. When one door closes, others open—let’s embrace this moment to explore alternative solutions and work collectively toward a brighter future.

Those violent harsh responses you keep giving your children are storing up, waiting to explode. The inequality you show at home, the subtle dominance, the rudeness they see you show people lower than you in society. They're soaking it all up!
It is possible for your children to pretend to be calm at home and be big time bullies at school. Check in periodically, make sure they're never attacking anyone.
Most importantly do not expose them to violence physically, family, friends or on screen.
May God help us to be intentional about these kids and to bring up total children 🙏

I Was invited to EYN school to talk on GBV and BULLYING, I got a lot of feedback from the pupils and students, one of which is that their parents don't trust them if they tell them things regarding abuse, it was heart breaking hearing that from quite a number of students including pupils.
Parents, why do you choose to trust others and not your children?
Why do you choose to break their trust in You?
Do you know that it will take the grace of God for them to trust you again?
Please learn to hear them without judging them, be their safe spaces, their safe heaven. I know we're all busy but try and create time for these children, they need you now more than ever.
Don't teach your children the same way you were taught. We must start training them to say no, that's one way we can reduce the rate of Molestation, sexual abuse, harassment, etc.

Today at GDSS Bekaji to sensitize students on Gender Based Violence (GBV) signs, causes and effects of Bullying or being Bullied.
The sensitization is strategically designed to instil and promote self love, empathy and confidence in students which in return plays a positive role in their day to day lives, relationships and the society at large.

We choose to be the voice that drowns out hate, the action that stands against harm, the force that speaks for us and others where necessary. Bullying has no place around us. We're the light that spread kindness online and beyond and I hope you are too.

Dear parents, your presence goes a long way in the lives of your kids, ask questions, most importantly learn to listen without judging them.

The second edition of Oikos Dream is going to be a fun packed activities...

This program has been strategically designed to draw collaborative efforts from children, parents, schools, well meaning individuals and corporate brands to sensitize our environment, instil and promote self love, empathy and confidence in children which in return plays a positive role in their day to day lives, relationships and the society at large.

What other thing will you give your child if not to empower them with the right knowledge, empowering them with the ability to set boundaries is crucial for their emotional wellbeing and safety. Together, let's raise empowered kids who understand the importance of consent and boundaries.

OIKOS HOPE FOUNDATION is a non governmental, non profitable organisation that will be working with families, schools, the government, news media and other relevant bodies toward bringing about social awareness and attitudinal changes in child welfare and protection.
To advocate against Gender Based Violence (GBV) and to serve as a platform providing community training related to GBV and its prevention.
To serve as a resource that increases access to quality education, especially for marginalized and underserved communities, by supporting schools and educational programs.
To improve global health and well-being by providing access to healthcare, promoting healthy lifestyles, and advancing medical research and innovation, ultimately striving for a healthier world for all.
To combat climate change through education, advocacy, and practical solutions working toward a sustainable future for our planet.
