APC HOLDS LOCAL GOVERNMENT CONGRESSES ACROSS ADAMAWA

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has successfully conducted its local government congresses across the 21 local government areas of Adamawa State, with the exercise described as peaceful, transparent, and orderly.

Chairman of the State Congress Committee, Honorable Ephraim Abgwe, who also supervised the earlier ward congresses, monitored the exercise in some local government areas and commended the process.

He noted that the elections were largely conducted through consensus, reflecting the unity, maturity, and internal harmony within the party.

Briefing journalists in Yola South after monitoring the exercise, Honorable Abgwe expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the congresses, praising party members for their peaceful disposition and commitment to democratic values.

He said the successful outcome of the exercise is a strong indication that the APC in Adamawa is waxing stronger and better positioned for future political victories.

The committee chairman further expressed optimism that the party will emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections, considering the renewed unity and growing support APC continues to enjoy across the state.

He also commended stakeholders, delegates, aspirants, and members for embracing consensus and ensuring a rancour-free exercise throughout the state.

The successful conduct of the local government congresses is seen as another major step in strengthening the party’s structures ahead of future political engagements in Adamawa State.

Fintiri Advocates Fairer Revenue Sharing Formular as RMAFC Visits Adamawa

The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has called for a more realistic and democratic revenue sharing formula to address developmental challenges at the state and local government levels.

The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has called for a more realistic and democratic revenue sharing formula to address developmental challenges at the state and local government levels.

Fintiri made the call on Wednesday while receiving a delegation from the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) at Government House, Yola.

The governor stressed that the current revenue allocation system no longer reflects present-day realities, noting that state governments now shoulder increasing responsibilities, including infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and security.

He argued that a review of the formula was long overdue, urging the commission to recommend a fairer system that would better support states and local governments.

According to him, strengthening subnational governments would reduce pressure on the federal government and improve service delivery.

Fintiri also expressed support for the ongoing review process, assuring the delegation of the state government’s cooperation in ensuring the exercise yields meaningful results.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation and Federal Commissioner representing Kwara State, Mohammed Ismail, said the visit was part of a nationwide exercise to verify and update data used in revenue allocation among the three tiers of government.

He explained that the exercise, backed by constitutional provisions, aims to ensure that the revenue sharing formula reflects current socio-economic realities, including population changes, infrastructure development, and emerging national challenges.

Ismail noted that the commission has made significant progress in the review process and is currently validating data that will inform a revised allocation formula.
He commended the Adamawa State Government for its cooperation and support, as well as the visible infrastructural development recorded in the state.

He added that the outcome of the exercise would have far-reaching implications for the federation and assured that the commission would carry out its assignment with professionalism, transparency, and integrity.

β€” APC Membership e-registration began on January 5, 2026.

β€” As of February 9, 2026, few days to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s alignment with APC, the party's registration portal had reached 450,166 members, and it was closed.

At that time, rumours about Fintiri’s defection became louder, and there's debates sparkling here and there, with some of Fintiri’s doubters claiming that since the party had already registered over 450,000 members, his defection would not add much value to the numbers.

β€” Finally, Governor Fintiri officially defected to APC on February 27, 2026.

β€” The APC membership e-registration portal was reopened on March 4, 2026, 5 days after Fintiri’s defection, to accommodate his supporters.

β€” As of March 11, 2026, the membership rose to 635,894, recording an additional 185,728 members within the first week after reopening, to accommodate Fintiri’s supporters.

β€” By March 19, 2026, 15 days after reopening, the number increased to 755,755, showing an addition of 305,589 members.

β€” As of March 27, 2026, the figure rose further to 904,603, marking an increase of 454,473 members within 23 days.

β€” By March 29, 2026, Adamawa APC broke the record as the state with the highest APC membership e-registration in Nigeria, with 913,616 members, surpassing Lagos and other APC-dominated states.

Summary:
Adamawa APC before Fintiri: 450,166 members
Adamawa APC after Fintiri: 913,616 members

This shows an increase of 463,450 members, which is approximately 103% growth.

From these figures, it is clear that Governor Fintiri is not just a governor, but a political force and a brand built on his own capacity. His influence is visible and cannot be ignored. Adding over 100% of the initial membership after his defection is not by chance. It shows that the masses are with him and are willing to follow his direction. This is why we say Fintiri is not just a name, it is a brand.

Adamawa Leads the Way: Fintiri’s National Appeal Reshapes APC’s Fortunes!

By Emmanuel Philip Tumba .

The Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has recorded a remarkable political milestone, rising to the top position nationwide in party membership with an impressive total of 913,616 registered members, 547,769 males and 365,847 females. This unprecedented growth follows the strategic alignment of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri with the party, a move that has redefined the political rhythm not only within the state but across the national landscape.

Beyond the figures lies a deeper story, one of trust, credibility, and leadership that resonates with the people. Governor Fintiri’s influence has proven to be a unifying force, drawing widespread grassroots support and inspiring confidence among citizens who see in him a leader of vision, courage, and measurable results. His entry into the APC has not merely boosted numbers; it has injected renewed energy, discipline, and direction into the party’s structure.

The surge, as reflected on the APC membership dashboard, is a testament to purposeful leadership and strategic mobilisation. It underscores the Governor’s capacity to build bridges across divides, galvanize communities, and translate governance goodwill into political strength. In many respects, this is not just a state achievement, it is a national statement.

Adamawa now stands as a model of political organisation and citizen engagement, setting the pace for other states to follow. More importantly, Governor Fintiri has emerged not only as a state asset but as a national pillar within the APC, an embodiment of leadership that combines performance with political foresight.

As the party advances toward future engagements, the momentum generated in Adamawa offers both inspiration and a roadmap. It is clear that with leaders of Governor Fintiri’s calibre, the APC is not only expanding in numbers but also deepening in strength, unity, and purpose.

China has thrΒ£atened to shut D0wn Nigeria’s c0mmunications satellite over an unpaid $11.44 million DΒ£bt. If we don't pay within 30 days

Does China have the Legal right to threaten to shut down Nigeria Satellite Communication System?

It all depends on the technical and legal service agreements signed between Nigeria and China.

I don't have a copy of the document, so i can't tell what terms and conditions Nigeria agreed to

But this is what we should expect if they shut it down

Data will not work again, meaning we can't come online again

TV stations may not be able to show again as signal will be lost

Radio stations will not work again
We will be forced to go back to the olden days of communication 🀣🀣

Where we communicate through spiritual powers 🀣🀣🀣🀣

L0an apps will not work again and no way to call you to pay back your L0an

Banking network may loose signals too, you go enter broke mode if you no withdraw your m0ney

Sporty ppu, there won't be.m network to play sporty

Ignorance of the law is no excuse for Nigeria at this critical moment
