APC HOLDS LOCAL GOVERNMENT CONGRESSES ACROSS ADAMAWA
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has successfully conducted its local government congresses across the 21 local government areas of Adamawa State, with the exercise described as peaceful, transparent, and orderly.
Chairman of the State Congress Committee, Honorable Ephraim Abgwe, who also supervised the earlier ward congresses, monitored the exercise in some local government areas and commended the process.
He noted that the elections were largely conducted through consensus, reflecting the unity, maturity, and internal harmony within the party.
Briefing journalists in Yola South after monitoring the exercise, Honorable Abgwe expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the congresses, praising party members for their peaceful disposition and commitment to democratic values.
He said the successful outcome of the exercise is a strong indication that the APC in Adamawa is waxing stronger and better positioned for future political victories.
The committee chairman further expressed optimism that the party will emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections, considering the renewed unity and growing support APC continues to enjoy across the state.
He also commended stakeholders, delegates, aspirants, and members for embracing consensus and ensuring a rancour-free exercise throughout the state.
The successful conduct of the local government congresses is seen as another major step in strengthening the partyβs structures ahead of future political engagements in Adamawa State.
