BOYS' BRIGADE, NIGERIA, BORNO STATE COUNCIL
COMMUNITY SERVICE IN COMMEMORATION OF BB WEEK AND THE 111TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDER'S DEATH
Venue: Dala, Dalori, and Maximum Cemeteries, Maiduguri

As part of the 2025 BB Week activities, the Boys' Brigade Nigeria, Borno State Council, carried out a coordinated cemetery clearing exercise at Dala, Dalori, and Maximum Cemeteries in Maiduguri. This act of community service was done to give back to the communities for their generosity during the BB Week exercise and in remembrance of our Founder, Sir William Alexander Smith, who died 111 years ago.
The event witnessed active participation from the National Vice President (Northeast Zone), Comr. Mrs. Ladi Charles; Vice President MMC, Mr. Wajoba Satumari Mambula; State Secretary Organizer, Mr. David P. Yamta; Assistant State Secretary Organizer, Mr. Elijah Yikala; current and former State Executives, Battalion leaders, Officers, and Boys.
Mrs. Ladi Charles commended the Boys and Officers for their dedication, while Rev. Hon. TPL James B.M. Pelachiroma, Acting Coordinator of MMC-CAN, described the effort as a divine testimony of unity and service. State President, Comr. Matthew A. Manada, thanked all participants, quoting Hebrews 6:10 to reinforce the value of faithful service.
As we honor the legacy of Sir William Alexander Smith, may this selfless act renew our commitment to the ideals of service, discipline, and Christian character.
