Mrs. Oforji Augusta Celebrates Birthday with Patients at FMC Yenagoa
In a remarkable display of compassion and generosity, the wife of the Honourable Member representing Yenagoa/Kolokuma-Opokuma Federal Constituency, Mrs. Oforji Augusta, marked her birthday by reaching out to patients at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Yenagoa.
Accompanied by the wife of the Commissioner for Special Duties, Bayelsa Central, Mrs. Mandy, alongside other women, Mrs. Augusta visited several wards within the hospital. During the visit, she paid outstanding medical bills, offered words of encouragement, and shared love and hope with patients.
A major highlight of the visit was her generous intervention in settling an outstanding hospital bill and sponsoring a surgery of Mrs Jackson Inimiemi who was involved in a boat mishap from Ekeowe worth nearly ₦1.6 million for a patient in need.
In her remarks, Mrs. Oforji Augusta expressed deep appreciation to those who joined her in the humanitarian visit. She also prayed for the speedy recovery of the sick and safe delivery of expectant mothers in the labour ward.
Her selfless act stands as a testament to the power of kindness and the true essence of celebrating life by uplifting others.
